SILVER SHADOW TRAIL HIKE

The Silver Shadow Trail hike is located in The Yacolt Burn State Forest. Hike is approx. 7 miles with 1255 ft elevation gain. Moderate difficulty in about 3.5 hours. Please sign up 24 hours prior to departure. Meet at the trailhead at 9am or, meet at Lacamas Lodge at 8am if you want to carpool, with a prompt departure at 8:10am. Bring DISCOVER Pass if you are driving yourself. We will begin hiking at 9:15am. Restrooms at the trailhead. Bring water and snacks. Wear good hiking shoes. Bring hiking poles if you prefer. Wear bug spray. Cell service is always spotty in the mountains, so communication is limited. Sign up using a class from your pack or your unlimited membership, or "Drop On In" for $20.
