This waterfall is an impressive 335 feet surrounded by douglas firs, western hemlocks, evergreens and big leaf maple and alder trees. There is no cell service so please note your transportation options as well as our START time: 1) Meet at Trailhead at 8:30am 2) Meet at Lacamas Lodge for carpool at 7:00am. Please confirm if you need to carpool 48 hours prior to the hike. We will begin our hike at 8:45am! Distance: 6.3 miles round trip Elevation gain: 1445 feet High point: 2,370 feet Difficulty: Moderate Permit: NW Forest Pass Required Restrooms at the trailhead Bring hiking poles and wear hiking boots Brings snacks and water A portion of the forest road has deep pot holes, so a truck/SUV is recommended. There is an option to do a shorter hike about 2.6 miles for anyone looking for a shorter option. After the hike, we will enjoy lunch together at Backwoods Brewing in Carson, WA.
